Knit Fix-It
(or Oops! What do I do now?)

When you make a knitting mistake, do you know how to fix it, or do you banish the project to the clost of broken dreams? This workshop will give you the skills and confidence to save aggravation and save those projects! $35.
Prep required:
With light coloured worsted weight yarn (20 sts to 4 inches/10 cm) on 4 or 4.5 mm needles, cast on 30 stitches. Knit 5 rows. Purl row 6, knit row 7, then repeat rows 6 & 7 until work measures 6 inches. Leave on needles and bring to class. Please bring balance of yarn, extra needles, a crochet hook (3.5 or 4) and blunt darning needle.

You'll learn where to buy your wheel and supplies, play with some unspun fibres and see what they look like spun up into luscious yarns. Nuno felting is a traditional wet felting technique where wool roving is combined with a lightweight silk base to produce a richly textured, luxurious fabric which can be incorporated into clothing and accessories.
